WORLD CONGRESS ON ENFORCED DISAPPEARANCES

CEDI will organize a multi-actor World Congress on Enforced Disappearances in 2024, with the support of the United Nations Committee on Enforced Disappearances.
The World Congress will bring together families, members of civil society, States, experts and other key actors.
Its 3 main objectives are:
1. Develop a common strategy and action plan for the ratification and implementation campaign
2. Put families and CSOs back at the centre of joint efforts
3. Promote intergovernmental dialogue and community of practice
CEDI calls on all actors who share the same goal of universal ratification and implementation of the Convention to support the project.
